Who we are
FlowTransit ("Flow", "we") provides route planning and optimization software for public transit. This policy describes what personal information we collect through flowtransit.ai, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website; data that agencies load into the Flow product is governed by the service agreement with that agency.
What we collect
When you book a demo or contact us, we collect what you submit: your name, role, work email, organization, organization type, and anything you write about your network or goals. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses and browser information, for security and reliability. This site does not use analytics or advertising trackers and does not set cookies.
How we use it
We use the information you submit to respond to you, schedule and prepare demos, and manage our relationship with your organization. We use server logs to keep the site secure and available. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Product data
Network, schedule, and ridership data that an agency shares with us for an evaluation or under a service agreement is used only to provide the service to that agency. It is not sold, shared with other customers, or used for any other purpose.
Who processes it
We use a small number of service providers to run this site: Vercel hosts it, Web3Forms relays form submissions, and Google Workspace handles our email. Each processes data on our behalf and under its own security commitments. Information may be processed in the United States.
Legal bases
Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we process your information on the basis of your consent (when you submit a form), our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site, and the steps needed to enter into a contract with your organization.
Retention
We keep the information you submit for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and our relationship with your organization, and then delete it. Server logs are kept for the short periods our hosting provider retains them.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete, or export the personal information we hold about you, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Write to hello@flowtransit.ai and we will respond promptly. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.
Children
This site is intended for professionals and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with an updated date. If a change meaningfully affects how we handle your information, we will say so plainly at the top of this page.
